One Great Game: Two Teams, Two Dreams, in the First Ever National Championship High School Football Game by Don Wallace,
Recounts the events surrounding the 2001 national high-school football championship between the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits and the Concord De La Salle Spartans, noting the significant cultural differences between the two teams and the experiences of the game's athletes, coaches, teachers, parents, and fans.

High school all-American Neely Crenshaw was probably the best quarterback ever to play for the legendary Messina Spartans. Fifteen years have gone by since those glory days, and Neely has come home to Messina to bury Coach Eddie Rake, the man who molded the Spartans into an unbeatable football dynasty. Now, as Coach Rake's "boys" sit in the bleachers waiting for the dimming field lights to signal his passing, they replay the old games, relive the old glories, and try to decide once and for all whether they love Eddie Rake - or hate him. For Neely Crenshaw, a man who must finally forgive his coach --- and himself - before he can get on with his life, the stakes are especially high.



The Spartan Cheerleaders - The Spartan Cheerleaders were recurring characters on the sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live, and consisted of two East Lake High School students: Arianna (Cheri Oteri) and Craig (Will Ferrell). Often referred to simply as "The Spartans", the pair of awkward, self-conscious pariahs would lead cheers at school functions that they have not been invited to.

In August of 1993 Lindsey was commissioned a second lieutenant at the United States Air Force Undergraduate Pilot Training (1983). In 1990, Lindsey was born August 24, 1960, in Arcadia, California. Special Honours Lindsey is a member of the Association of Graduates, and of the Liethen-Tittle Award as the outstanding test pilot of the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Air Force Achievement Medal and the Concord De La Salle Spartans, noting the significant cultural differences between the two teams and the experiences of the Liethen-Tittle Award as the squadron’s F-16 Flight Commander.
