Mourts Relation

Mourt's Relation by William Bradford,

Mourt's Relation by William Bradford,
Originally printed in 1622, this is the first published account of the coming of the Pilgrims to the New World to settle Plymouth Plantation.

Relation (mathematics) - A relation is a mathematical object of a very general type, the generality of which is best approached in several stages, as will be carried out below. The basic idea, however, is to generalize the concept of a binary relation, such as the binary relation of 'equality' that is denoted by the sign "=" in a statement like "5 + 7 = 12" or the binary relation of 'order' that is denoted by the sign " http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relation_%28mathematics%29

Asymmetric relation - Asymmetric often means, simply: not symmetric. In this sense an asymmetric relation is a relation, in particular a binary relation, which is not a symmetric relation.

Dispersion relation - The relation between the energy of a system and its corresponding momentum is known as its dispersion relation. For example, for massive particles in free space, the dispersion relation can easily be calculated from the definition of kinetic energy:

Dependence relation - In mathematics, a dependence relation is a binary relation which generalizes the relation of linear independence.
